The Grassroots Journal was founded by Borderless World Volunteers. It immerses its readers in the complexities of development studies, as seen through the lens of undergraduates in the field. As an open access journal, it provides an interdisciplinary forum for research and reflection on global development issues, as well as on recent innovations in development policy and practice. Grassroots publishes student academic articles, informative pieces on innovations in the field of development, and analytical pieces on development issues, controversies, and policy debates.
Who We Are
The Grassroots Journal is run by undergraduate students at McGill Univeristy. In addition to accepting academic submissions, we have a team of writers who write weekly articles for the journal.
